How It Works

The program is based over 7 sessions each containing information on healthy eating, physical activity, healthy weight and other relevant topics on living a healthy lifestyle.

If you have Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) or Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG) you will also have 2 modules where you will learn about IGT and IFG and the associated health risks. After completing these sessions you move into the next 7 sessions to learn how to prevent type 2 diabetes and other chronic conditions.

After completing each session you will be given one week to work towards your set goals. During this week you will receive a motivational email to help you on your way. Once it is time to log in and commence your program, we will send a reminder email to your inbox.

Each program session is estimated to take between 10-20 minutes to complete. However you do not need to complete a session all at once, as the program will re-direct you to the section you are up to, should you only complete part of the session.

The program contains 'easy to use' functions and tools which are suitable for any adult regardless of computer skills.
